The Delaware Academy of Family Physicians is proud to present our first CME event of the new year - plan to join us on Saturday, January 16 for the Women's Health Summit, featuring Lindsay Ashkenase, MD, Martha Simmons, MD, David Hack, MD and Karen Antell, MD, MPH.  Topics include maternal and infant morbidity and mortality associated with racial disparities; understanding the newest options in contraceptive care and counseling your patients using evidence-based information on making a selection; providing a framework for addressing key components of preconception care to ensure a healthy pregnancy and "a vigorous and happy newborn;" and using case-based scenarios, different approaches to discussing how menopause can impact your patient's well-being and the types of therapies available to treat these symptoms.
