Start your summer off early with the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians Annual Meeting. This year’s theme is “Technology in Medicine” – we’ll take a deep dive into all the options, tools, and services that promise to enhance the quality, care, and delivery of our healthcare system.
Friday, May 16th kicks off at the Children’s Beach House in Lewes with the DAFP House of Delegates, Annual Business Meeting, and Awards. Friday evening will be aglow at the Research & Education Foundation Fundraising Reception and Auction. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as you peruse extraordinary gift baskets and auction items donated by local Delaware businesses.
Saturday, May 17th is this year’s deep dive into medical technology and how it can work for you. Join us at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes for a day of powerful CME, poster presentations, exhibitors, and more.
POSTER CONTEST!
A Call for Research Posters is being issued for presentation at the 2025 DAFP Annual Meeting. This event will provide an opportunity to exhibit a clinical or research project to our DAFP family physicians attending this event. The research must be of interest and educational value to the specialty of family medicine. Posters will be accepted in the following categories:
- Research
- Clinical Vignette
- Community Project
- Educational Program

Join us in the evening after the Annual Meeting on Saturday, May 17th for a Bonfire on the Beach from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. We’ll have tunes, lite bites, beverages, or bring your own libations and fire up some s’mores with our DE Family Medicine Residents & Medical Students.

The DAFP Research & Education Foundation invites you to its annual fundraising event to support family medicine residents, medical students, and healthcare communities in Delaware.
